Bio

Adeleke is a corporate commercial lawyer and the Managing Partner of Duale, Ovia & Alex- Adedipe (“The Firm”), a fast-growing full-service commercial firm in Nigeria that provides a wide range of expert legal services to a highly diversified client base both local and international operating in various sectors of the economy. He specializes and has depth of experience in Telecommunication, Media and Technology, Banking and Finance, Capital Market, Mergers & Acquisition, Business Advisory and other corporate commercial practices. He has attended and facilitated a plethora of trainings, seminars and conferences both within Nigeria and outside Nigeria in finance documentation, Mergers and Acquisition, Telecommunications Media and Technology and Energy and Infrastructure, etc. Adeleke had his secondary school education at the Federal Government College, Ido-Ani, Ondo State. He proceeded to study law at Obafemi Awolowo University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2007. He was subsequently admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2008. Adeleke worked at the Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria and further worked at the law firm of Paul Usoro & Co after which he worked at the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode. Adeleke co-founded the law firm of Duale, Ovia & Alex- Adedipe with Soibi Ovia and Adeniyi Duale in February 2016. Adeleke serves on the board of several companies including Bluechip Technologies Limited, Visatech Limited, Ceviant Finance Company Limited, Rensource Distributed Energy Limited and Skill up Africa Limited. He was recently appointed by the Governor of Lagos State to the Lagos State Research and Innovation Council in Lagos state. Adeleke is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. In addition, he is an Associate member of Africa Philanthropy forum. He was recognized by the ESQ Nigeria Legal Awards with the 40 under 40 award for outstanding achievements in the legal industry, Technology Team of the Year 2018 by ESQ Nigeria Legal Awards, the Media & Entertainment Team of the Year 2017 by Esq Nigeria Legal Awards, Law Digest Africa Award 2018 as the Emerging Law Firm of the Year and a Recommended TMT Attorney in Nigeria by Global Law Expert in 2020. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association-Section on Business Law Governing Council and currently the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association-Section on Business Law Conference Planning Committee (CPC) of the 15th Annual Business Law Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association. Adeleke’s hobbies includes football, exercising, arts, travelling and politics. He is married to Aderonke Alex-Adedipe and has a daughter.
